Abstract

In this chapter, the following items are described for environment, waste, and resources, which are specific to thorium fuel cycle. Decay heat and radiotoxicity for thorium fuel cycle are compared with conventional uranium fuel cycle, at first. A rough estimate for ThorCon type Molten Salt Reactor is shown. At the end of this chapter, resource issue mainly on thorium is described.
