Abstract

A numerical technique is presented to study the scattering of electromagnetic waves from slot antennas fed by waveguides with arbitrary terminations. The technique employs the method of moments in conjunction with the entire‐domain basis functions to solve the integral equation derived for the field in the slots. The validity and accuracy of the proposed technique are demonstrated by comparing the numerical results to the solution obtained using the finite‐element method. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
