Abstract
An essay is presented depicting the contribution of critical theorist José Esteban Muñoz to the Caribbean studies. It discusses Muñoz's commitment to futurity as well as the hispanophone Caribbean's all-overness, which is the focus of Muñoz's critical vision of temporality. The relationship between aesthetics and politics as well as the potential of anticolonial horizon are discussed.
