Abstract

The effects of branching on the rheological properties of solutions of randomly synthesized AB/AB etherimide copolymers using starting fractions of AB monomer ranging from 0 to 1 were examined. As such, the viscosity dependence on the fraction of AB segments showed a negligible increase in the composition indicating minor changes in molecular architecture. This paper presents the results demonstrated by AB/AB type copolymerization which became a useful tool for probing the effects of chain architecture on properties.
