Abstract

Various aspects of the E-diesel, a blends of ethanol and diesel fuel, are discussed. With certain precautions and careful management, it is practically feasible to use a 15 percent ethanol-diesel blend in unmodified agricultural tractors. The blends permitted the use of aqueous ethanol and are of practical interest during periods of petroleum shortages.
