Abstract

Voltage problems have become a matter of serious concern in recent years. This paper investigates the dynamic aspects of operation on a typical P-V curve. It discusses multiple stable equilibrium points in the context of small signal (steady-state) stability. Results on a single machine example and a three machine example are presented.
