Dissipation effects on the superconductor-insulator transition in 2D superconductors

Abstract

A detailed study into the effects of a dissipative bath on the superconductor-insulator transition in two-dimensional superconducting films was performed at scaling close to the critical point. The phase diagram for the field-tuned phase transition is presented, taking into account the H-T dissipation strength at finite disorder. The results of the analysis of the sample resistance as a function of the temperature curves for B = 2, 1.3, 1.23, 1.21, 1.2, 1.18, 1.1, 1.0, 0.75, 0.70, and 0T are also presented.
