Abstract

In this paper we develop a P,Q load model from a third-order induction motor model. This load model is expressed in terms of meaningful bus quantities: voltage magnitude, angle, frequency. active and reactive powers. From this general model, all induction machine based dynamic P,Q load models may be derived. We also address issues associated with the implementation of implicitly defined load models.
