Abstract

In a recent hydraulic investigation on the Cache River basin, the stages of the Mississippi River at the Beechridge station were found to be necessary downstream boundary conditions for modelling the Lower Cache River. However, the stage records at the Beechridge station, which is located at the junction of the Mississippi River and the mouth of the Lower Cache River, have been discontinued since 1971. A method is presented for determining stages at Beechridge based on stages at other stations on the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. (A)
