Abstract

A method is described for deterimining 3D motion/structure over 2 frames, where rigid body has 3D points and 3D straight lines contained on parallel planes. Note that such objects are widespread in the man-made world. The computations involve only the solution of linear equations and simple vector analysis. Numerical simulation results are described, which show that the methods work for configurations with several parallel/concurrent 3D lines.
