Determination of cut-off wave number and composition for HgCdTe using reflectance spectrum peak in intrinsic region

Abstract

Transmittance and reflectance spectra measurements are carried out for HgCdTe samples by FTIR spectrometer. Transmittance curve is used to determine the composition of each sample. An obvious peak is observed in the reflectance spectrum. Compared the wave number of the peak in the reflectance spectrum with the cut-off wave number, the proportion coefficient indicating their direct proportion relationship is found.
