Abstract

A new CCS (Common-Center-Steering) system, which complies with ideal Ackermann Steering Geometry at any angle of the steering range, has been designed. Corresponding CCS coplanar linkage and independent linkage steering systems for manual and for power steering, and a CCS steering box have also been designed. Prototypes of these CCS systems should be constructed and tested in actual field conditions.
