Abstract

A new CCS (Common-Center-Steering) system, which complies with ideal Ackermann steering geometry at any angle of the steering range, has been designed. The corresponding CCS coplanar linkage and independent linkage steering systems for manual and for power steering, and a CCS steering box have also been designed.
