Abstract

We present the design and fabrication of a SOI ultra-compact wavelength-demultiplexer based on arrayed-waveguide-gratings. The size of device is <0.1mm 2 and the simulation shows that crosstalk is >30dB between channels and insertion loss is ∼1dB.
