Abstract
Commercial home pages link to personal (and other commercial) home pages much more frequently than do academic ones. Thus, clients using academic sites have limited access to Black Studies resources unless they turn to nonacademic sites. Clearly, academic Web sites have little connection to contemporary black experience and activism.
