Abstract

The problem of sensitivity minimization with a decentralized controller which also provides decoupling of the effect of disturbances occurring at the output of the plant is investigated. Using the Youla parameterization of all stabilizing controllers, the constraints on the controller become convex constraints on the Youla parameter Q. Thus, the resulting model matching problem is convex irrespective of the norm that measures the sensitivity function.
