Abstract

This paper intends to analyze the concept of “Time” that marks the history of Western Metaphysics from the “archaic ontology” to Kostas Axelos, a Greek contemporary philosopher. Following an inner analysis of Western Metaphysics, Axelos comes to a “glossy” sense of Being. A “glossy” sense, based on which man must plunge into the “becoming river” and give up any aspirations to civil and political change.
