Abstract
The Cyberfarm experience has been a relatively unique opportunity to observe farmers and agri-business decision makers explore and link Internet-based communication innovations with precision agriculture innovations. The linkage of these technologies has the potential to over-come the high cost of capturing data regarding on-farm production processes, which historically have limited the implementation of management tools and techniques in agriculture. Potentially, this linkage, if successful, could alter profoundly agricultural production and marketing systems.
