Coupled mode analysis of a distributed bragg reflector laser for hydrogen detection

Abstract

Simulation results for a DBR laser hydrogen sensor formed using periodic strips of palladium are presented. Due to palladium's sensitivity to hydrogen gas, the laser's output wavelength and power shift in response to hydrogen concentration.
