Coupled mode analysis and demonstration of an electrooptic frequency shifter

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

We present a semiclassical wave mixing analysis to study the effect of a microwave field on a train of short optical pulses in a traveling wave modulator structure. The devices can achieve long range and continuous shifting. Experimental results from such device will be shown.
