Abstract

formula presented R1 = R2 = Me: 2 R1 = R2 = i-Pr: 3 R1 = Me, R2 = n-Pr: 4 Alkenylsilacyclobutanes and alkenylsilanols react in palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions via the same intermediate, produced in situ upon treatment of either starting material with tetrabutylammonium fluoride.
