Abstract

In the course of taxonomic survey on the snow craneflies in Korean peninsula, the authors have found the fifth species, Chionea (s. str.) sphaerae Zhang, Wang and Yang, 2012, which has been known from Northeast China, so far. Redescription and illustration of morphological features of the above newly recorded species, and keys to the Korean taxa of the genus Chionea are provided respectively
