Continuous TCC process: Producing oil from livestock manure

Research output: Contribution to journalReview articlepeer-review

Abstract

The thermochemical conversion (TCC), a chemical reforming process of organic compounds and water in a heated enclosure to produce oil and gas, is discussed. Oil can be formed in TCC reactor using organic materials such as livestock manure in 20 minutes. The TCC reactor technology has been advanced and the technology is close to TCC pilot plant. The advanced technology systems has the capacity to process 72L (19 gal) of oil per day.
