COMPLOC: A Competitive Store Location Game

Abstract

In COMPLOC, an interactive computer game, students apply their knowledge of store location models to a realistic scenario. The competitive framework instills student interest and appreciation for long-term planning in a competitive environment. The article discusses the structure of the game, its learning objectives and our experience with its use.
