Abstract

An efficient method to calculate the closed-form spatial Green's functions for the microstrip structure when the source and the field points are located at an arbitrary height above the substrate is presented. By using contour deformation and changing variable of integration, the Sommerfeld integrals are successfully evaluated for height changes of the source and the observation points.
