Abstract
Recent gyrotron traveling-wave amplifier experiments in the TE°01 mode have led to the developing of 2-port and 4-port devices potentially useful as input couplers, severs, and beam-RF separators for collector designs. The couplers are moderately wide-band, have high transmission efficiencies, and low reflection coefficients. In addition, they are relatively easy to construct. We present analytical and experimental results.
