abstract = "This paper explores the circuit synthesis of blackbox macromodels through the use of distributed networks. A lossless transmission-line representation is obtained from the scattering parameter response. The method offers the advantage of generating physical, and nonnegative circuit elements and is relatively easy to implement. The circuit extraction algorithms is studied and tested through the use of simulation to verify the robustness and accuracy of the technique.",
