Charmonium with improved Wilson fermions II: The spectrum

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Using an improved fermion action to remove lattice spacing errors of O(a), we have calculated the charmonium spectrum. We show that after optimizing the ground state overlap using Coulomb gauge wave functions the ground state is reached after two time slices. We find for the J ψ - ηc mass splitting m J ψ - mηc = 73 ± 10 MeV.
