Abstract

Seed and leaf tissue derived from controlled crosses in the apple were analyzed for catalase, esterase and peroxidase isozymes. Catalase seed isozymes showed similarities to those detected in the leaves, whereas distinct differences in the banding patterns were observed for esterase and peroxidase.
