Abstract

This is the third paper in a series of articles reporting the diversity of Dothideomycetes and Sordariomycetes in the semi-arid region of Brazil. Two Dothideomycetes and three Sordariomycetes are reported in this study: Annulatascus joannae and Kirschsteiniothelia lignicola are new records for the New World, Hilberina caudata and Saccardoella macrasca are new records for South America and Macrodiplodiopsis uniseptata is a new record for Brazil. We provide illustrations, descriptions and discussions for all five species.
