Binding energy of parallel carbon nanotubes

Abstract

A study was performed on the binding energy of parallel carbon nanotubes. Their geometry was examined by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results showed an estimate of 0.36 nN binding energy between the two parallel carbon nanotubes.
