Abstract

Experiments were performed in which two well-developed Rydberg series, built on the 3P1 core of the ion were observed by multiphoton ionization of the atom, combined with time-of-flight photoelectron spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The reported levels were accessed by two photon excitation of the 6s 2P3/2 excited state.
