Abstract

In Apuntes para abandonar el derecho, José M. Atiles-Osoria proposes a revision of Agamben’s “state of exception,” in order to trace the genealogy –which, rather, seems more like an eternal return– of US imperialism. This book is an acute and exhaustive interrogation of the main role that the law has complicitly played in submitting Puerto Rico to diverse manifestations of coloniality.
