Abstract

The application of repetitive control to the problem ofattenuation of vibration in a class of engineering structures excited by periodic disturbances occurring at a fundamental frequency and its integer multiples is examined. The internal model principle is employed to design controllers for a single degree of freedom structure as well as for a Euler-Bernoulli beam. The beam system is examined experimentally.
