Abstract

A new-generation laboratory for electric power is described. the design and results in operation are discussed. Examples of experiments are presented. the laboratory provides safe, modern, concept-intensive study of power devices and systems. Experience with the facility demonstrates that it is possible to create an integrated approach to the broad area of power devices, systems, and their control — without compromise of the laboratory experience.
