Abstract
This report combines the expertise of the Illinois State Archaeological Survey (ISAS) in the state’s heritage resources with the latest climate modeling projections to assess how climate change might affect cultural heritage across Illinois. Significant threats to the state’s cultural resources include increased soil erosion, flooding, and accelerated development. Our effort allows us to make a series of evidence-based recommendations of actions Illinois should take to protect the state’s cultural heritage sites.
