An Application of Nested Control Synthesis for Wind Farms

Abstract

In this paper, we apply new nested-system synthesis methods for decentralized control to wind turbine arrays. We extend single-turbine modeling and analysis to incorporate turbine coupling caused by wake turbulence effects. Simulation results are provided for validation.
