Abstract
This paper analyzes the error made in the synthesis of a digital signal from its short-time Fourier transform. The error description is given in terms of the digital Poisson summation formula. The results are then discussed in terms of computer simulations using rectangular, Hamming, Dolph-Chebyshev, adn Kaiser windows.
