Abstract

The article discusses the latest efforts to preserve public mounds sites in Quincy, Illinois. It features the preservation, recording and restoration works at the Indian Mounds Park and Parker Heights in Quincy. The latest survey jointly conducted by the North American Archaeological Institute (NAAI) and the Illinois State Archaeological Survey (ISAS) on the sites is also cited.
