Abstract
The complex infrastructure of agriculture and the agri-food and fiber supply chains have experienced substantial changes in the past two decades. Many of the important infrastructure innovations and managerial responsibilities in agriculture involve finance. Agricultural financial markets and institutions play an integral role in financing the important stages of the agri-food supply chain. Macroeconomic policies also impact the regulatory, trade, operating, and financial markets of the various firms along the agri-food supply chain.
