Abstract
This paper deals with the time-harmonic, electromagnetic analysis of a 3D inhomogeneous radiator/scatterer in free-space. A finite element-boundary integral formulation is presented, which is based on a variational principle and which yields a symmetric system matrix. Convergence results are presented to demonstrate the order of accuracy of the formulation. Results for a general scatterer are also shown.
