Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in immediate and necessary changes to many aspects of K-12 and postsecondary education. To support teachers and teacher educators during this challenging time, the Journal of Technology and Teacher Education published both an open-access special issue and special edition eBook. There were 33 articles in the journal and 133 chapters in the eBook that were all submitted, re-viewed, and published in 8 weeks’ time. Based on the number of downloads and citations of these publications, and feedback from readers, there was evident need for further research, review, and data collection. Now the editors are returning to the topic two years later, inviting the original authors to share research they’ve conducted since 2020. They were asked to be transparent about what worked, what had not worked, and what direction they’ve taken since their previous initiative.
