A power systems experiment in an electric machinery laboratory course

Research output: Contribution to journalConference article

Abstract

This presentation presents an experiment in an electric machinery laboratory course that demonstrates interesting power system concepts such as synchronization and voltage control. In this experiment, generator operators compete against loads to see who can survive an afternoon of fun changing things and trying to compensate properly.
