Abstract
The first recorded species of Distatrix Mason from North America, D. solanae Whitfield, n. sp., is described from specimens reared in California from larvae of three species of geometrid moths. Biological information, and diagnostic characters distinguishing the new species from the other described species of Distatrix, are provided.
