Abstract

A methodology is presented for modeling the frequency dependence of the ohmic loss in the metallization planes of power distribution networks. The methodology relies on the definition of an effective, frequency-dependent, complex magnetic permeability. Numerical results are presented for the validation of the proposed methodology in the context of the extended segmentation procedure.
