Abstract
This abstract briefly presents a method for injection of software design faults by means of simulation-based fault injection. The method models and injects Heisenbugs [Gra85] affecting one, two or more channels in a parallel computing system. Moreover, it should be possible to inject faults that provoke crash-, omission-, timing- and incorrect computation failure [Cri91] of a given component in a system The following description of the method uses the FARM (Faults, Activation's, Readouts, Measures) attributes [Arl90] as a framework.
