Abstract

A gateway-assisted quality of service (QoS) adaptation framework was presented which satisfied high-level QoS application guarantees. The framework was validated via a distributed tracking system and provisioning of critical QoS guarantees was shown despite the best effort underlying resource management. A particular application of the framework, the omni-directional video camera (ODVC) was also described.
