Abstract

SYNOPSIS: Fivush and Kellas Koenig provide a compelling overview of the theoretical, methodological and interdisciplinary opportunities in family storytelling. This commentary offers a transdisciplinary viewpoint on family storytelling that extends this approach and includes recommendations for research methods, training, and investigator opportunities. The commentary ends with a discussion of how to capture the untold and family experiences with storytelling.
