Description

The dual purpose of the National Academy of Kinesiology is to encourage and promote the study and educational application of the art and science of human movement and physical activity and to honor by election to its membership persons who have contributed significantly to the field.  The Academy shall promote its purpose by recognizing and encouraging the continued scholarly and professional productivity of its individual members: through synthesizing and transmitting knowledge about human movement and physical activity at annual scholarly meetings and via publication of Academy Papers; and by fostering philosophic considerations regarding issues and values related to human movement and physical activity.
