European Award for Architectural Heritage Intervention - Urban Planning

Prize: Prize/Award

The European Award for Architectural Heritage Intervention is a competition held every two years organised by the Architects’ Association of Catalonia and Association of Architects for the Protection and Preservation of Architectural Heritage, with the support of the Culture Ministry of the government of Catalonia and of the City of Barcelona. The prize has become a landmark in architectural restoration in Europe, at a time in history when people are rediscovering the past not only as a source of inspiration for new projects but as a resource for reconnecting with the contemporary.
